A brief overview of the Fortified Homes process

Once we have an unconditional contract with you and the building consent has issued from council (usually around 20 working days), our standard build time is approx. 6 months from when we start on site until completion. Here’s the typical journey from first Meet and Greet through to Build Completion.

01Meet and Greet
A quick, no-pressure chat to see where you're at in your journey.
02Discussion around what you want to build
We talk through your ideas, lifestyle and what you want from your new home.
03Sign Preliminary Agreement
A simple agreement so we can start working up your concept and plans.
04Site, floor and elevation plans back for consultation
Your plans come back for review — adjust anything until it feels right.
05Confirm price and plans
Once you're happy with the design, we lock in the final plans and pricing.
06Sign Contract
We draw up the build contract, ready for you and your bank or lawyer.
07Choose colours
The fun part — choose your colours, fittings and finishes.
08Council Consent issued
We lodge for building consent and title for land — usually around 20 working days.
09Start build
Boots on the ground: your new home gets underway on site.
10Build completion
We hand over the keys to your finished home — approx. 6 months from start of build.
